These terms cover your purchase and use of Beacon, a macOS search application ("Beacon", "the app"), sold at beaconmac.com.
Beacon is currently free to download and use. A paid plan may be introduced later; if so, its pricing will be shown clearly before you buy anything, and these terms will be updated.
Beacon's source code is publicly available on GitHub under the PolyForm Internal Use License 1.0.0: you're free to read it, build it, and use it for yourself or internally at your company — but you may not redistribute it or works based on it. The signed, notarized build distributed through this site is free to use.
Don't resell, redistribute, or share license keys. We may deactivate keys that are leaked or abused (we'll always try to contact you first).
Beacon is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
